Have you studied the violin, viola, cello or piano and would you like to play with Allegra Strings in the privacy of your own living room at home? Do you have a child who would benefit from the chance to play with a string quartet, trio, or duo?

Music at home is not a performance by Allegra Strings. Music catering is designed for you and your family, to help you enjoy chamber music in your living room, at your leisure and with family and friends. Create your own Salon!. Please contact us and ask us about 'music catering'.

Allegra has repertoire suitable for any level.

(In case you hadn't thought about it, Allegra travels outside into backyards very well during the summer months.)

Fees for more casual music catering are not formalized. Please contact Allegra Strings manager's email for further details and describe your event.

The violin is handcrafted from specialty woods; select maple, spruce and ebony are often used. Every part of the grain of the wood contributes to the quality of its sound. The instruments used by a professional string quartet are often over a hundred years old, and are treated with love and great care.

We play Baroque, Classical, Romantic originals, and great arrangements of Waltzes,
Tangos, Broadway, Folk, Popular, and Sacred music favourites.
